Look for variety in the third series of summer movies at the Orpheum Theatre this summer. While past years have focused exclusively on the “Harry Potter” and “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchises, this summer’s focus is a single auteur: Steven Spielberg.

That means you’ll be able to see:

▪ A young Harrison Ford whipping snakes and Nazis in “Raiders of the Lost Ark.”

▪ Robin Williams sparring with Dustin Hoffman and flirting with Julia Roberts in the Peter Pan remake “Hook.”

▪ Richard Dreyfuss building a giant mountain in his living room for “Close Encounters of the Third Kind.”

Tickets are $5 at the door, $4 for students, seniors and the military.

The movies will screen on these Mondays at 7 p.m.:

June 15 – “Jurassic Park” (1993)

June 22 – “Hook” (1991)

July 13 – “Empire of the Sun” (1987)

July 20 – “Jaws” (1975)

Aug. 10 – “Close Encounters of the Third Kind” (1977)

Aug. 17 – “Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark” (1981)
