Botanica cancels Illuminations for Monday night

Botanica has canceled its holiday lights Illuminations event for the second night in a row because of the weather.

Illuminations will not be open Monday night. Botanica does plan to resume the event at 5:30 Tuesday. That would leave three more nights for the event, which runs through New Year’s Eve. Hours are 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

You can get a discount on tickets by bringing a canned food item for the Kansas Food Bank. You can get $1 off for each food item, up to $2 off a ticket. Regular prices are $8, $7 for members, and $6 for ages 3 to 12. Children younger than 3 get in free. For more information, go to botanica.org.
