Haunted attractions start opening this weekend

Field of Screams 2014, Prairie Pines Christmas Tree Farm, 4055 N. Tyler Road. Gates open at 7 p.m. Fields open at dark. Open Fridays and Saturdays through Nov. 1 and Oct. 12, 19, 26 and 30. Ticket sales end at 11:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and at 10:30 p.m. other nights. Admission: $15-$25. A limited number of timed admission tickets available. 316-722-1145. scaryprairiepines.com
Forest of Fear, 7446 51st Road, Udall. Opens at dark. Open Fridays and Saturdays through Nov. 1 and Oct. 12, 19, 23, 26 and 30. A 1-mile haunted forest walk. Before or after the haunted walk, take a hay-rack ride, warm up by the bonfire or watch an outdoor movie. Open from dark until midnight Fridays and Saturdays and from dark to 11 p.m. other nights. Horror Wood Haunted Attraction, 2525 W. Douglas. Opens at 7 p.m. Open Oct. 9-12, 16-19, and Oct. 23-Nov. 1. Tickets: $15 in advance, $20 at the door. 316-285-8480
Haunted Cannery Spook House and Lunatic Asylum, 10001 NW 77 Hwy., El Dorado. Haunted House at Walters Pumpkin Patch. Open every Friday and Saturday in October from 7:30 to 11:30 pm. Admission $18.
Warehouse of Terrors, 1690 W. 140th Ave N., Milton. Open from 8 to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday nights in October. Admission $25. 316-540-3972.
Wicked Woods Wasteland, 3640 S. Topeka: Open 8 p.m. to midnight Fridays and Saturdays from Oct. 3 to Nov. 1. Admission is $13, or $8 for ages 12 and under, who must be accompanied by an adult. 316-524-5311
