Rapper Nelly is coming to Wichita this summer

The Grammy’s have embraced Hip Hop and R&B for its 2018 nominations. Jay-Z has earned eight nominations while Kendrick Lamar picked up seven. Other nominees include; Childish Gambino, Bruno Mars and Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee.

It’s about to get “hot in herre.”

“Herre” being the Cotillion, that is.

The rap and hip hop artist Nelly will perform at The Cotillion at 8 p.m. June 27, the venue announced Monday.

Tickets go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. Friday at www.thecotillion.com.

They will be available for pre-sale from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Thursday on www.thecotillion.com — text RAP to 49798 for pre-sale information.

Tickets are $45 in advance.

Nelly rose to popularity in the early-to-mid-2000s with hits like “Ride WIt Me,” “Country Grammar,” “Hot In Herre” and “Work It.”

All seating is general admission.
