Planning something special for the NCAA tournament? We want to know about it

The NCAA men’s basketball tournament is coming to Intrust Bank Arena from March 15-17, and it seems everyone in town is looking to capitalize on the thousands of tourists expected to be here.

The Eagle is publishing a special section during the tournament, which will be widely distributed in town. In it, we’ll be listing all of the parties, specials and other events going on in Wichita – for the benefit of our out-of-town guests.

But we need your help.

If you are planning a special event from March 14-17, let us know and you may be featured in the special section.

Follow these two steps to give your event maximum exposure:

▪ Send the details of your event to mriedl@wichitaeagle.com. Send times, dates, places, a flier if you have it – everything someone would need to know to attend.

▪ Submit your event to our online listing at Kansas.com/events. On the desktop site, there’s a small button that reads “Add event” near the top of the page. If you’re on mobile, view the page in desktop format to see the button (it strangely doesn’t appear on the mobile site). Fill out your event details there to ensure we see it, as sometimes emails can get lost.

Submit your events no later than Feb. 15.
