WSU Shiftspace, 416 S. Commerce. 6-10 p.m. “The Recruits” features work by area high school students Payton Coleman, Kiara Ehrmann, Madalyn Liebst, McKinley Matney, Madison Mullen, Lauren Tanner, Hannah Warden and Emily Westbrock.
The Fiber Studio, 418 S. Commerce. 6-10 p.m. Featuring inspirational sculpture of crystal rock by Karen J. Carney and paintings by Linda Metsker.
HUE Gallery of Contemporary Art, 430 S. Commerce. 6-9 p.m. Featuring three DJs performing to a light show.

Mead. 6-8 p.m. Featuring “Red Stripe” by William Counter in the main gallery, “Surface Tension: Tibbs Glass Art” by Chad Droegemeier in the Boardroom Gallery, “Barns of the Kansas Prairie” by Clyde Engert in the Balcony Gallery, “Flowers, Sins, Dogs and Me” by Dan Kirchhefer in the first-floor hallway gallery.
Harvester Arts, 215 N. Washington. 6-9 p.m. “Rainbow in Reverse: Queer Kansas History” showcases LGBTQ Kansans who have made contributions to our cultural life – through a series of sculptures, installations and photographs by Genevieve Waller.
Mead Street Gallery, 121 N. Mead. 6:30-9 p.m. Featuring art from the Kansas Academy of Oil Painters. Argentine artist Sophia Caccavo will be featured on the back wall.

Artist Central, 5014 E. Central. 6-8 p.m. Featuring a live and silent auction for works from the late Jo Zakas’ collection. Auction will continue on February’s Final Friday.
Unity of Wichita, 2160 N. Oliver. 5:30-8:30 p.m. Featuring the nature photography of Dianne Waltner and the abstract paintings of Lindsey Fansler.
