What to see, do in Wichita this Final Friday (Nov. 24, 2017)
This Final Friday, pickings are a little slim at Wichita galleries.
Perhaps it’s because of the Thanksgiving holidays, but not nearly as many galleries as usual have listed shows this Friday evening.
Regardless, there should still be a decent amount of places hosting openings, for those looking to get out on Black Friday.
I’d recommend the places who are hosting shows specifically tailored as holiday-gift shows (The Workroom and Reuben Saunders Gallery), because local art always makes a great gift.
Vertigo 232’s “Meet Me In the Woods” also sounds like a wide-ranging, diverse show – as does The Fiber Studio’s “Glass Extravaganza,” if you’re into glass art.
