Want to grab a drink on Thanksgiving? Here’s what’s open
There’s nothing better than celebrating Thanksgiving with the family.
Except when you’re cooped up with that family for hours on end.
Sometimes, when the rest of the family is napping off their turkey comas or going Black Friday shopping (on Thursday, of course), you just need to get out for a bit.
Maybe you’re the lone Dallas Cowboys fan in a family of Chiefs fans, seeking to watch the afternoon game with like-minded people.
Maybe you need to blow off some steam after a stressful evening hunting for the best Black Friday deals.
Or maybe you just want to visit your long-lost uncle, Jack Daniels.
Whatever the reason, Wichita bars will be open that night to welcome the thirsty masses.
Many local bars will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, but here are a few that will be open. I may have missed a couple – if you’re wondering whether your favorite watering hole will be open, it’s best to call or check Facebook.
