A cheaper way to get into Botanica, Cowtown holiday events
Botanica and Old Cowtown Museum are fewer than 100 feet apart, yet they haven’t ever partnered for the holiday season – until now.
For the next two weekends, you don’t need to choose between going to Cowtown’s popular Victorian Christmas event and Botanica’s Illuminations.
The two organizations are selling a joint ticket to both attractions for the next couple of weekends – $15 for adults and $10 for ages 3-12.
The ticket allows the bearer access to one night of Cowtown’s Victorian Christmas and one night of Illuminations any night Botanica is open.
“There’s no longer a wall between us,” said Marty Miller, Botanica’s executive director. “This is a good start for us – we might even do something in the summer.”
Tickets can be purchased only in person at either Botanica, 701 N. Amidon, or Cowtown, 1865 W. Museum Blvd.
Bought separately, you’d spend 75 cents more for adult tickets to both attractions and $1.50 more for children’s tickets, so the larger your group, the bigger your savings.
They can be purchased in advance at both places and are sold whenever the museums are open.
Parking is available at Botanica, Arthur B. Sim Golf Course, Old Cowtown Museum, lots across from the Wichita Art Museum (free shuttles provided) and a grass lot west of Cowtown.
