Carolyn Wonderland at Crown Uptown Theatre
Austin-based blues singer-songwriter Carolyn Wonderland will be crooning at 8 p.m. Saturday at Wichita’s Crown Uptown Theatre, 3207 E. Douglas. The singer has been praised by the likes of Bob Dylan and record producer Ray Benson, who collaborated with Wonderland. Split Lip Rayfield at the Cotillion
Originating from Wichita, bluegrass band Split Lip Rayfield will be returning home to play at 8 p.m. Saturdayat the Cotillion, 11120 W. Kellogg. The three-piece band features a mandolin, banjo and bass. Fabulous Shirtheads at Margaritas Cantina
The Fabulous Shirtheads will be performing at 9:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Margaritas Cantina, 3109 E. Douglas. The band aims to “move you, shake you and make you dance your cares away,” according to its website.
