Today’s version of the Count Basie Orchestra will be at the Historic Fox Theatre in Hutchinson for a performance at 7:30 p.m. Friday. The Rat Pack Is Back
Four singer/actors will be at the Orpheum on Saturday night to re-create the circa-1960 Rat Pack of Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Joey Bishop and Dean Martin performing at the Sands Hotel in Las Vegas. Mickey Joseph, Drew Anthony, Kenny Jones and Brian Duprey will perform at 8 p.m. in the character of the legendary stars. Tickets are $35 to $45; call 855-755-7328 or go to www.selectaseat.com. DeafKAN at The Renfro
The Deaf Kids Art Network will have a Final Friday show from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at The Renfro Studio, 612 E. Douglas. Artwork by the network and the Kansas School for the Deaf, as well as community canvases made during the summer at the Old Town Farmers Market, will be on display. There will be a silent auction of the canvases and a quilt donated by Sew Up the Creek Quilting Bee, and a professional photo booth will be set up. Greeting cards featuring some of the art and baby teethers will be for sale. Proceeds will go to the kids’ network to bring deaf artists and performers to Wichita. Refreshments will be served. The event is free.
