The acoustic guitar duo Rodrigo y Gabriela of Mexico will perform Saturday night at the Stiefel Theatre in Salina. The music of Rodrigo Sanchez and Gabriela Qunintero, which melds a variety of genres, can be heard on the soundtracks of “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” and the “Shrek” sequel “Puss in Boots.” The show will include duets as well as numbers played with backing musicians. Art museum at night

You can see the Wichita Art Museum in a new night light during “Night at the Art Museum Deu” (that’s French for “two”). It’s from 8 to 11 p.m. Friday, featuring refreshments, music by Katy Guillen and The Girls of Kansas City (rock, blues and flamenco guitar), and contemporary art installations. The galleries will be open until 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door (free in advance and $5 at the door for members). More details: wichitaartmuseum.org.

‘The Gospel Side of Elvis’

On Sunday, the 38th anniversary of the death of Elvis Presley, a quartet that bills itself as singing the music that Elvis loved will perform at the McPherson Opera House. The Blackwood Quartet has its roots in the old Blackwood Brothers Quartet, whose members were friends of Elvis’. The Blackwood Quartet will perform at 6 p.m. Sunday at the opera house at 219 S. Main.
