DeMasi Brothers at First Unitarian

The folk duo DeMasi Brothers from Brooklyn will perform at 7:30 p.m. Friday at First Unitarian Universalist Church, 7202 E. 21st St. Joseph and John DeMasi play guitar and sing of their Unitarian Universalist beliefs, sometimes heard on NPR. Sing-alongs and audience participation are part of their show. A $10 donation is suggested. More info on the brothers: www.thedemasibrothers.org.

Concert to salute veterans

Senseney Music Community Band and Quilts of Valor will salute veterans at a concert at 7 p.m. Sunday at Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church, 1600 W. 27th St. North. The band will play music that includes patriotic songs, marches and show tunes, and quilts made for veterans will be presented. The concert is free.

B&W photography show

Black-and-white photography by Andy McGinnis will be on display Friday at Delano BBQ. The show – “Gray Skies, Tears, Yesterday Is Here” – will be from 6 to 9 p.m. at the restaurant at 710 W. Douglas, along with a free s’mores bar. Ten percent of the proceeds from art sales and from the restaurant’s dine-in sales from 3 to 8 p.m. will go to the Wichita Children’s Home.
