Active-duty military personnel and their families, including the National Guard and Reserve, will receive free admission to several Wichita museums from Memorial Day through Labor Day as part of the annual Blue Star Museums program.

More than 2,000 museums across the country will be offering the free admission. In Wichita, the attractions that are free starting Monday are Botanica, the Mid-America All-Indian Center, Old Cowtown Museum, the Wichita Art Museum and the Wichita-Sedgwick County Historical Museum. Military personnel must show the appropriate ID and can include as many as five family members.
