‘Sesame Street Live: Let’s Dance’ at Intrust

Characters from the beloved children’s show “Sesame Street” are coming to Intrust Bank Arena, 500 E. Waterman, for interactive performances this weekend. Children and adults can join Elmo, Cookie Monster and company in an interactive dance party. Show times are 6:30 p.m. Friday, 10:30 a.m., 2 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets cost $15-$60 on Friday and $19-$60 Saturday and Sunday. Children 1 or older must have a ticket. Doors open one hour before the show. Navy Band visits Wichita

Navy Band Great Lakes’ Brass Ambassadors will visit Wichita State University for a free concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Miller Concert Hall. At Friends University, Master Sgt. Steve Ticknor, principal saxophonist for the U.S. Army Band, Pershing’s Own, in Washington, D.C., will join the school’s Concert Band at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the university’s Sebits Auditorium. Home Show at Century II

The Home Show is going on this weekend at Century II, 225 W. Douglas. About 280 exhibitors will be showcasing a variety of products and services related to home design and remodeling. The event will also include seminars on remodeling financing, the building process and more. The show is from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $8 for adults, $6 for seniors and $3 for children 7 and up. Children 6 and under get in free. Free parking is available at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium, which also offers shuttle service.
