Western swing trio The Cherokee Maidens will celebrate the release of a second album with a party on Saturday at Barleycorn’s, 608 E. Douglas. The group, made up of Bartlett Arboretum’s Robin Macy plus Monica Taylor and Jennifer Melcher, just released the album, called “The Cherokee Maidens Ride Again.” The event will feature a performance by the group with appearances from several special guests, some of whom appear on the album. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10 and are available at www.barleycornswichita.com.

Bring Me the Horizon at the Cotillion

British rock group Bring Me the Horizon will perform a 7 p.m. concert at the Cotillion on Monday, and it’ll bring with it opening act PVRIS, a group that also will open for Fall Out Boy when it performs a just-announced concert at Intrust Bank Arena on March 22. Bring Me the Horizon, which formed in 2003, is touring in support of its fifth album, “That’s the Spirit,” which was released in September and is said to have a less hard-core sound than its previous releases. Lyle Lovett, John Hiatt team up at the Stiefel

Grammy-winning singer Lyle Lovett, who also is a well-regarded actor and composer, will perform on Thursday at Salina’s Stiefel Theatre, 151 S. Santa Fe in Salina. He’ll appear along with singer and guitarist John Hiatt. The concert will start at 7:30 p.m., and tickets are $49, $65 and $77. Tickets are available at www.ticketmaster.com or by calling 785-827-1998.
