Free admission at Exploration Place
If you’ve been meaning to make it over to Exploration Place to see the traveling exhibit “Eww! What’s Eating You?,” you have a chance to see it at no cost Sunday, when Exploration Place offers free admission from noon to 5 p.m. in honor of military personnel who live in the area. Active and retired members of the military with ID can also receive a 10 percent discount at the Explore Store, Boeing Dome Theater and Planetarium, MiniGolf and snack bar. An Evening with Terry Quiett Band
The rock blues group Terry Quiett Band takes over Crown Uptown Dinner Theatre, 3207 E. Douglas, on Saturday. The all-ages show starts at 7:30 p.m. with doors opening at 6 p.m. Tickets are $10-$40 and are available at www.crownuptown.com/tickets or by calling 316-612-7696.
Start holiday shopping at Century II
Get your holiday shopping list ready. Holiday Craftapalooza & Fabulous Vintage Market is going on this weekend at Century II Exhibition Hall, 225 W. Douglas. The event, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, will feature over 90 booths showcasing crafts, antiques, jewelry, home decor and more. Admission is $3; ages 12 and under get in free.
