Little Big Town at the fair
Country music group Little Big Town, known for its hit song “Girl Crush,” will perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Kansas State Fairgrounds in Hutchinson. The group, which recently tied with Eric Church for the most Country Music Association award nominations, is a four-part vocal group from Alabama. Get the Led Out at Stiefel
Popular Led Zeppelin tribute band Get the Led Out will return to Salina’s Stiefel Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. The six-piece band, founded in Philadelphia in 2003, re-creates Led Zeppelin’s unique sound. The group first performed at the Stiefel in November 2011. Afro Jamz Fall Bash at Rock Island Live
The Afro Jamz Fall Bash, an event put on by Africa United, happens at 9 p.m. Saturday at Rock Island Live, 101 N. Rock Island in Old Town. The party will include music by DJ Will, who will spin several kinds of dance music, from reggae to bongo to Afrobeat. Attendees are encouraged to “dress to impress.” Admission is $10 for ages 21 and older and $15 for ages 18 to 20.
