'Love Island USA' 2026 finale reveals Season 8 winners
Another couple has joined the ranks of "Love Island USA" winners.
Trinity Tatum and Bryce Dettloff were revealed to have received the most votes from fans and were thus named the winners of Season 8 during the Sunday, July 12, finale.
As confetti fell all around 22-year old Trinity and 30-year-old Bryce, the runner-up couple, Aniya Harvey and Carl Schmidt, celebrated the fan favorite couples' win.
Melanie Moreno and Sincere Rhea came in third, and Zach Georgiou and Kayda Bosse were in last place. Of course, the entire cast bookended their stay in the Fiji villa by partaking in the annual tradition of jumping into the scarcely used pool, fully clothed.
The big reveal capped off nearly six weeks of divisive challenges, dramatic recouplings, endless "Corbin GPT" memes and "French fry" references.
"Brinity" has bragging rights as a truly rare "Love Island" couple: one that stayed loyal since day one (with the exception of Trinity kissing Corey Sawyer Jr. during Casa Amor). Trinity and Bryce at first seemed to be nothing more than a friendship couple when they both indicated they'd be interested in exploring other options in the first episode.
However, as the weeks went on, their slow-burn connection grew deeper through a shared sense of humor, vulnerable moments and trust that was built after they jubilantly came back together post-Casa Amor.
When is the 'Love Island USA' Season 8 reunion?
Don't feel satisfied with how things went down in the finale? The Season 8 reunion will drop on Peacock in over a month, and fans can anticipate insights into what happened after the islanders left the villa behind and updates on where all the couples stand.
The reunion will come out at 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET on Monday, August 31.
What do you win on 'Love Island?'
Each year, the winning couple takes home a shared prize pot of $100,000.
Split in half, Bryce and Trinity each netted $50,000 – minus taxes – as they reigned supreme as America's favorite couple.

'Love Island' continued to be dogged by racism controversies in 2026
"Love Island USA" has weathered several controversies in recent years, including one that dropped right before this season premiered at the beginning of June.
Vasana Montgomery, a 25-year-old business owner from Oregon, was removed from the starting cast days ahead of the June 2 premiere after a video of Montgomery appearing to use a racial slur while singing along to a song was made public. The clip came out right after the cast was revealed on May 28.
Days later, Montgomery took to social media to apologize for the videos, which she acknowledged "hurt and upset people."
Weeks later, Alannah Keyser, a 21-year-old college student from Miami, was ousted on June 25, just days after her debut as a Casa Amor bombshell. Shortly after her debut, a video and screenshots of messages purportedly showing Alannah using a racist slur started circulating on social media. In a Snapchat video recording, she appeared to sing along to a song that uses the word.
She addressed the circumstances around her exit in a June 27 TikTok video, in which she said, "I do want to say directly that I do not support racism or discrimination of any kind, and I never have." She added, "The video is from six years ago, and that word is just not in my vocabulary."
Keyser also said that screenshots of messages purportedly showing her using the slur were not real.
