Wichita’s St. Patrick’s Day parade, parties happen this weekend. Here’s a guide:

St. Patrick’s Day is Tuesday, and most of Wichita’s annual St. Paddy’s parties will happen this weekend. Among them: the annual Delano parade and a big party in Naftzger Park. Here are some of the bigger St. Patrick’s Day events happening this weekend plus a guide to other things to do.

St. Patrick’s Day parties

Delano Paddy Day Parade and party, West Douglas: The annual parade starts at noon on Saturday at Douglas and McLean and will travel west along Douglas to Walnut. The day’s events also will include a food truck rally and street party that will last from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., a drink truck that will serve adult beverages from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and a kids zone that will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. All will be set up along the parade route.

Food and music at Shamrock Lounge, 1724 W. Douglas: This popular Delano Irish bar will open at 10 a.m. on both Saturday (parade day) and Tuesday (St. Patrick’s Day.) On Saturday, it will offer drink specials and will serve burritos starting at noon. On Tuesday, it will serve a traditional Irish corned beef from noon to 8 p.m. Both days will feature drink specials and bagpipers throughout the day. On Saturday, a four-band rock show will start at 7:30 p.m. and will require a $5 cover. On Tuesday, Irish/Celtic band Sassanachs will perform at 6 p.m., and that show also will require a $5 cover. The bar will accept cash only on both days.

Kegs & Eggs at Pumphouse, 825 E. Second St.: This bar’s 15th annual Kegs & Eggs breakfast runs from 8 to 11 a.m. on Saturday. It’s an all-you-can-eat buffet that costs $11.99 and includes a free T-shirt. The bar also will offer green beer and other drink specials all day.

ShamROCK the Park at Naftzger Park, 102 S. St. Francis: Shaken or Stirred Bartending is hosting this public party, which will last from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday at Naftzger Park, 601 E. Douglas. It will include food, adult beverages and live music. Admission is free.

Vintage Market Days

Friday-Sunday, Wichita Sports Forum, 2668 N. Greenwich Court

Vintage Market Days is returning to Wichita for a three-day shopping event that will feature more than 100 vendors, artisans and makers from across the country selling vintage items, antiques, art, jewelry, clothing, home decor and more. The event happens from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday through Sunday at the Wichita Sports Forum, 2668 N. Greenwich Court, and it will also include food and live music. Friday tickets are $15, and Saturday and Sunday tickets are $10. Children 12 and under will be admitted free. All tickets are good for reentry all weekend and are available at events.humanitix.com/wichitaspring26 or at the door.

Flea market returns

The Wichita Flea Market will put on its March installment this weekend in the Century II Exhibition Hall and balcony, 225 W. Douglas. The market will happen from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. It will feature around 250 vendors selling antiques, vintage items, reclaimed items, comics, jewelry and toys. This month’s market also will have a scavenger hunt with 20 shamrocks hidden throughout the booths. Anyone who finds at least 10 will be entered to win cash prizes and free tickets to future markets. Admission at the door is $4 for one day and $5 for two days. Children 12 and under will get in free.

For the birds

The Wichita Symphony Orchestra will be in concert on Sunday with “The Firebird,” which will feature not only Stravinsky’s Firebird Suit but also Wagner’s “The Flying Dutchman Overture.” It will also include the world premiere of Daniel Perttu’s violin concerto “Stealing from Birds,” which was inspired by birdsong. The concert is at 3 p.m. at the Century II Concert Hall, 225 W. Douglas. Tickets are $29-$85 at wichitasymphony.org, by phone at 316-267-7658 or in person at the Century II box office

The art of spring

Mart Arts’ monthly Art Together program is focusing on springtime this month. The event, which will happen from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday at the venue, 1307 N. Rock Road, will start with a 10 a.m. story time from the book “The Prairie that Nature Built” and a visit from a Great Plains Nature Center snake. At 10:30 a.m., visitors will be able to create their own nature mandalas using sticks, flowers and other natural materials. And at 11:30 a.m., the ICT Youth Drumline will perform. Admission to Art Together is free, but people are encouraged to register in advance at markartsks.com/course/march-art-together/
