Here Come the Mummies at the Cotillion

Here Come the Mummies, a funk band whose members appear dressed as fully bandaged mummies – and who perform regularly in Wichita – will perform again at 8 p.m. Friday at the Cotillion, 11127 W. Kellogg. Doors for the show, which is open to all ages, open at 7 p.m. The opening act is Laura Reed. The Appleseed Collective at Botanica

Americana band The Appleseed Collective, formed in 2010 in Ann Arbor, Mich., will headline the next installment of Tuesdays on the Terrace at Botanica, 701 Amidon. The weekly event fills the grounds of Botanica with food, drink and music. The Appleseed Collective’s latest release is a live mix recorded in its hometown. The show lasts from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., and admission is $7, $3 for members. Blue Moon Caterers will be selling food items, and the event also includes a cash bar serving cocktails, wine, beer and nonalcoholic beverages. Attendees also are allowed to bring in picnic dinners. Tony Tone at the Loony Bin

Comedian Tony Tone, also known as Tony Luewellyn, will perform this weekend at the Loony Bin, 215 N. St. Francis. The comedian, who has appeared on HBO’s “Def Comedy Jam,” as well as BET’s “Comic View,” is a master of impressions and bases his humor on his own life. He’ll appear at 7:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Tickets are $12 and are available at www.loonybincomedy.com or by calling 316-618-4242.
