Joe Walsh announces concert in hometown of Wichita to benefit veterans
Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh plans to play in his hometown of Wichita on Nov. 15.
He announced the date and city for his annual VetsAid concert, which raises money for veterans groups, in an Instagram post.
“There’s no place like home. There’s no place like home. There’s no place like…” he posted.
Details about the venue and lineup have not yet been released.
Last year’s concert, which was supposed to be held in New York, was canceled due to “circumstances beyond organizers’ control,” according to VetsAid.
Walsh started the nonprofit and annual concert in 2017. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee told Fox News in 2019 that his passion for helping veterans and military families came from losing his father in active duty as a child.
