Date and location for this year’s Symphony in the Flint Hills are set
The annual Symphony in the Flint Hills event is headed to Chase County this year.
The annual gathering to celebrate music, art and the Flint Hills takes place at a different site each year. This year, it will be June 14 at the Evans family property in Chase County, organizers have announced.
“We are honored to return to Chase County for the 20th anniversary of our Signature Event and deeply grateful to the Evans Family for welcoming us to their stunning property,” said Kelly Tastove, operations manager and donor relations manager for Symphony in the Flint Hills. “This breathtaking location sets the stage for a truly unforgettable celebration of the Flint Hills in 2025.”
The event draws thousands of visitors from across the country. Last year, recording artist Katharine McPhee performed alongside the Kansas City Symphony in Greenwood County. The Kansas City Symphony again will perform at this year’s event.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. March 1.
In addition to the concert, there will be talks and presentations, guided prairie walks, stories told by local musicians and poets, stargazing and dancing.
