Local band Sunshine the Bunny, a four-piece rock group that performs covers and originals, is putting on three CD release parties this weekend in two different venues. The group will be performing songs from its third album, “Sock It To ’Em,” starting at 8 p.m. Friday at Mort’s, 923 E. First St. They’ll also perform at 8 p.m. Saturday at The Artichoke Sandwich Bar, 811 N. Broadway, then at 3 p.m. Sunday at Mort’s. Anyone who attends all three shows will get a free Sunshine the Bunny T-shirt. Admission to Mort’s on Friday is $2, but it’s free on Sunday. Admission to the Artichoke show also is free. Dirty Heads, Migos at the Cotillion

The Cotillion at 11120 W. Kellogg has two shows this week. The first one, on Friday, is by reggae/ska/hip-hop band Dirty Heads, whose most recent album, “Sound of Change,” was released last summer. Also on the bill: Los Rakas and All Natty. Tickets to the show are $25. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the show is at 7:30. Then, on Wednesday, Atlanta-based hip-hop group Migos will perform. The group’s lineup includes an uncle and his nephew, and its most recognizable hit is “Versace.” Atlanta rapper OG Maco will open the show. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the show is at 8. Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 the day of the show. Tickets to both concerts are available at www.thecotillion.com or by calling 316-722-4201.

Trombone Shorty at the Stiefel

Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue will bring its blend of funk, hip-hop, jazz and rock to the Stiefel Theatre, 151 S. Santa Fe in Salina, on Thursday. The group’s leader and band director, Trombone Shorty, is a Grammy nominee who also has performed on the awards show. The show starts at 8 p.m., and tickets are $35, $46 and $57.
