Lady Antebellum returns to Intrust Bank Arena
Grammy-winning trio Lady Antebellum will return to Intrust Bank Arena on Saturday for a stop on its “Wheels Up” tour. The group, which was last on the arena’s stage in February 2014, will perform songs from its fifth studio album, “747,” which includes the hit “Bartender” and the new single “Long Stretch of Love.” Opening acts will be Hunter Hayes and Sam Hunt. Argentinian guitarist at Exploration Place
The Wichita Guitar Society is bringing Argentinian guitarist Cecilia Zabala to Wichita for a concert Saturday at Exploration Place’s Boeing Dome Theater and Planetarium, 300 N. McLean Blvd. Zabala, who is also a singer and songwriter, performs music that’s influenced by Argentinian folklore, jazz, tango and Brazilian music. Tickets are $20 at wichitaguitar.com. Metal, then rap at the Cotillion
The Cotillion at 11120 W. Kellogg will be putting on two weeknight concerts this week. The first, on Wednesday, is a heavy-metal show featuring headliners Arch Enemy along with Veil of Maya, Cattle Decapitation, Beyond Creation and Limits. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the show is at 6:30. Tickets are $21.50, $25 the day of the show. Then, on Thursday, rapper Nipsey Hussle will perform his rescheduled date. His original show was set for May 22. Mr. Sipp at the Crown
Blues guitarist Mr. Sipp, also known as “The Mississippi Blues Child,” will perform at the Crown Uptown, 3207 E. Douglas, on Wednesday. The show is at 6:30 p.m., and doors open at 5:30. Tickets are $15, $20 and $30 at www.brownpapertickets.com. Day-of-show tickets are $20 cash.
