Girls Night Out with Caillat and Perri at the Stiefel
Female singers Colbie Caillat and Christina Perri will perform a concert at Salina’s Stiefel Theatre, 151 S. Santa Fe, on Tuesday. Perri and Caillat are co-headlining a tour called “The Girls Night Out, Boys Can Come Too Tour.” The show starts at 7:30 p.m. Perri is a pop artist known for songs such as “A Thousand Years,” and Caillat is a two-time Grammy winner whose song “Try” has been a recent radio hit. J Alvarez at Cotillion
Puerto Rican performer J Alvarez will headline a show at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Cotillion that also includes opening acts Andy Boy and DJ Extreme. Alvarez is a reggaton artist, which is dance music influenced by hip-hop and rap. Tickets are $30 at www.thecotillion.com or by calling 316-722-4201.
Burlesque, ’80s style
The Awesome ’80s Burlesque show is a comedic show featuring local and out-of-town burlesque acts performing with a 1980s vibe. It happens at 9 p.m. Saturday at Abode Venue, 1330 E. Douglas. Tickets are $20 in advance at m.bpt.me or $25 at the door. The show’s producer is local burlesque dancer Betty Wannabang, the founder of the Wichita Burlesque troupe, who also performs in the show.
