Wichita’s Intrust Bank Arena announces two big summer concerts; Tickets on sale Friday
Wichita’s Intrust Bank Arena has announced two big shows by two artists who have both visited the venue in the past.
On Monday, the arena announced that country star Dierks Bentley will return to Wichita for the first time since 2019 with the summer leg of his “Beers on Me” tour.
Bentley, a singer/songwriter known for hits like “I Hold On” and “Home,” will be in Wichita on Aug 6. His opening act will be Travis Denning.
Tickets will go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. on Friday and start at $34.75.
On Friday, the arena also announced the return of James Taylor, who was last in Wichita in 2018 but also appeared at Intrust Bank Arena in 2011 and 2014.
His next time in Wichita will be Saturday, July 16. Tickets for the show will go on sale at 11 a.m. on Friday.
Taylor, 74, is best known for hits like “Carolina In My Mind,” “Sweet Baby James” and “Your Smiling Face.” Tickets to his show will be $63.50, $83.50 and $123.50.
