Christmas weekend is usually kind of quiet around Wichita, but there are still a few last-chance opportunities to squeeze in some holiday fun before it’s all over — or to escape your house after being cooped up with relatives. Here are a few activities Wichita can choose from:

Last chance for Ability Point Lights

Through Tuesday, Ability Point, 2919 W. Second St.

Tuesday is Wichita’s last chance to visit the Lights at Ability Point, formerly known as The Arc’s Lights. The display, made up of 1.6 million lights, features a rainbow tunnel, a nativity scene, a fire-breathing dragon and more. Hours are 5:30-11 p.m. today and Saturday and 5:30 to 10 p.m. Sunday through Tuesday. Admission is $10 a carload Fridays through Sundays. Donations will be accepted other nights. Visitors can also get pre-purchased tickets at QuikTrip or at Ability Point’s website.

Gnome fun

1-4 p.m. Sunday, Wichita Art Museum, 1400 W. Museum Blvd.

As a part of “Winter Art Mania,” the Wichita Art Museum is hosting “There’s Gnome Place Like Home for the Holidays,” a gnome-themed Christmas event set for Sunday. Guests will be able to create their own gnomes and go on a quest in the art garden to solve a riddle. The festivities will happen from 1 to 4 p.m. and there will be screenings of the family comedy “Gnomeo and Juliet” at 1 p.m. and at 2:30 p.m. Admission is free.

Pre-New Year’s cocktail class

6:30 p.m. Thursday, Exploration Place, 300 N. McLean Blvd.

Exploration Place is putting on a pre-New Year’s Eve mixology class for adults ages 21 and over that will feature mixologist Nelson Escalante demonstrating how to make the perfect mixed drink. There will be charcuterie and drinks for students, and each will go home with a bartending tool set. The class is at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 30. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased at exploration.org.

EMO Night

9 p.m. Wednesday, Wave, 650 E. Second St.

Looking to get out of the house after Christmas? Wave, the indoor/outdoor musical venue at Second and St. Francis in Wichita is hosting an Emo Night full of pop punk and post hardcore EMO throwbacks. The weekly event features mystery beers for $3 and PBR Tall Boys for $5. EMO Night starts at 9 p.m. on Wednesday. Admission is free.

Chiefs vs. Steelers

3:25 p.m. Sunday, Chicken N Pickle, 1240 N. Greenwich

Chicken N Pickle will once again put on a Chiefs Watch Party when the team plays the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday afternoon. The event will include several food and drink specials like Game Day Nachos for $9 and Blue Moon drafts for $5. The watch party will start at 3:35 p.m. and go until 6:25 p.m.
