Young country stars live, jazz at Bradley Fair, Lucky People outside
Young country chart toppers at Club Rodeo
Local radio station 102.1 The Bull is putting on another free concert featuring chart-topping country stars at Club Rodeo, 10001 E. Kellogg. Their show on Wednesday will be headlined by A Thousand Horses, whose song “Smoke” is topping the country charts. Also on the bill is Kelsea Ballerini, whose song “Love Me Like You Mean It” is also charting, and Canaan Smith, who has a radio hit with “Love You Like That.” Newcomer Mickey Guyton is the opening act. The doors open at 7 p.m., and the music starts at 9 p.m. Each act will perform for about 45 minutes. Admission is free for ages 21 and up or $15 for people 18-20. Jazz at Bradley Fair
Bradley Fair, the shopping center at 21st and Rock, continues its summer concert series next week with a show by Nick Colionne and Brian Simpson The concert, which starts at 7:30 p.m. on the Bradley Fair Plaza near Newport Grill, will feature Chicago native Colionne, an R&B/jazz guitarist, and Simpson, a jazz keyboardist. Lucky People at the Brickyard
One of Wichita’s most popular local cover bands, Lucky People, will perform on Friday at the open-air bar the Brickyard, 129 N. Rock Island in Old Town. The group is known for its high-energy shows that include funk, rock, dance and pop covers.
