Comedy legends Steve Martin and Martin Short will perform together in Wichita
Comedy legends Steve Martin and Martin Short will bring their “Now You See Them, Soon You Won’t” tour to Wichita in May.
The two comedians will perform together at Hartman Arena on May 8. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday.
The duo, whose 2018 Netflix special called “An Evening You Will Forget For the Rest of Your Life” received four Emmy nominations, will deliver a show that consists of musical sketches about their careers and their lives in show business. They’ll be joined on stage by Jeff Babko, a piano player and band member for Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Martin is an Academy-Award, Grammy and Emmy winner whose 51-year-career includes stints on “Saturday Night Live” and hit movies like “The Jerk,” “Planes, Trains & Automobiles” and “Father of the Bride.”
Short, who also appeared on “Saturday Night Live,” starred in movies like “Three Amigos” and co-starred with Martin in the “Father of the Bride” franchise.
