Fleetwood Mac at Intrust Bank Arena
Fleetwood Mac, will perform at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Intrust Bank Arena with its stars Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood, John McVie and Christine McVie, who rejoined the band for the tour following a 16-year absence. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees have won multiple Grammy Awards and are known for hits such as “Go Your Own Way,” “Landslide” and “Rhiannon.” Tickets are $49.50, $79.50, $129.50 and $179.50 at the Intrust Bank Arena box office, at Select-A-Seat outlets, by calling 316-755-7328 and at www.selectaseat.com.
Mitch McVicker at Derby Bible Church
Derby Bible Church is putting on a concert by Christian artist Mitch McVicker, a onetime Friends University student and close friend of late Christian star Rich Mullins. McVicker was in the car with Mullins when he died in a 1997 accident. McVicker, who has recorded eight albums during his career, will perform from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the church, 321 S. Derby in Derby. Admission to the concert is free, but the church will accept donations.
Rush of Fools at Newman University
Christian rock band Rush of Fools, best known for its hit “Wonder of the World,” is putting on a free outdoor concert Friday on Newman University’s campus. The concert will start at 7 p.m. on Newman’s Founders Plaza. Local band Aviator Worship will open the concert. The opening act was chosen through a poll on the Newman University Facebook page.
