Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce’s plans for Wednesday were set quite some time ago.

FX’s “Grotesquerie” premiered Wednesday night and Kelce is one of the co-stars. On his New Heights podcast, Kelce said he had not gotten an early look at the show.

I‘m excited,” Kelce said. ”I just want to see (it). I haven’t seen anything yet. I kind of have been just focused on training camp and football as everything’s been getting edited and finished. I’ve just been locked in on the (football) season.”

Kelce didn’t spill any details about “Grotesquerie,” but here is what Variety wrote about the series and Kelce:

“’Grotesquerie’ ... is a murder-thriller kaleidoscope in true (show runner Ryan) Murphy form: brutal gore, crippling social dysfunction, catholicism, psychosexual perversion, a murderer on the loose, indecipherable plotting and one crucial ingredient — irresistible celebrity.

“In ‘Grotesquerie,’ Kelce joins the cast as a charming — if not porny — bed nurse.”

The first two episodes of “Grotesquerie” debuted on Wednesday but alas, there were not any scenes with Kelce. However, the preview of episode three shows Kelce. Take a look, and it appears that Kelce is not the killer.

Kaylee Remington of Cleveland.com said Kelce “will star in the show beginning in Episode 3.”
