Augusta's Gracie Johnston only had to throw three innings, but she was flawless.

Johnston threw a perfect game Monday in a 15-0 win against McPherson. She had six strikeouts in 33 pitches.

Augusta led 4-0 in the third inning when the Orioles' offense came to life. With two outs, Augusta scored 11 runs to force the run-rule victory.

Johnston has been on fire this season. In early April, Johnston struck out 35 batters in two games and has hardly slowed down since.

She is 4-0 in league play with a .045 ERA, and opponents have a .067 batting average against her. She strikes out 19.5 batters for every walk she allows.

Augusta is 10-1 this season.
