Class 6A

Wichita Heights 64, Topeka 59 (FINAL)--At the half. Heights 30, Topeka 29. Heights holds on, 64-59. Falcons won't see a better team than Topeka the rest of the way.

Manhattan 56, Wichita Southeast 55 (FINAL)--Manhattan leads 14-12 after 1. Southeast giving up too many open shots. Southeast leads Manhattan 32-28 at half.

southeast, keyed by a pair of baskets from Reggie Williams, leads Manhattan 50-49 with 1:53 to play.

Manhattan's Adam Stitt makes a 3 to put the Indians ahead 54-52 with 30 seconds to go.

after a Hayden Harris 3 puts Southeast ahead, Zach Nelson sinks two FTs to give Indians 56-55 lead with 6.9 on the clock.

Harris at the line with no time left, shooting 1 and 1 with Buffs trailing by a point. Harris' first FT goes in and out, Manhattan going to state with a 56-55 win.

Maize 43, Wichita North 41 (FINAL)-- North leads Maize 13-12 after the first quarter. Maize's Ryan Schultz has nine points. North leads Maize 26-20 at the half. North ended the half on an 11-0 run. Frankamp all 7 of his points in the second quarter.

Maize scored four straight to end the third quarter and trails North 36-32.

Maize just took the 43-41 lead with 26.2 seconds to go when Luke Langley hit a three-pointer from the right wing. Chekiel Wright drove inside and missed, but ball is out on Maize. 10.9 seconds to go. Still 43-41 Maize. North gets a three-point attempt from Spencer Robertson rims out, Briston White tries to tip it in, rims out.

Dodge City 56, Wichita Northwest 43 (FINAL)--Dodge City leads Northwest 20-10 after the first quarter. Dodge hit 4 of 7 three-pointers, NW 2 of 6.

Dodge City leads Northwest 29-24 at the half, now has a 31-25 lead with 5 minutes to go in the third.

Dodge City is up 49-38 with 1:44 to go.

Class 3A

Wichita Collegiate 77, Douglass 54 (FINAL)-- The defending 3A champion returns to the state tournament.

Andover Central 46, Liberal 33 (FINAL)-- Good last minute for Central. A Gee steal and a finish for and-1 that was completed, then forced TO and Tennyson hits 3. AC up 25-17 lf.

Bishop Carroll 50, Andover 44 (FINAL)-- Andover scores last 7 points of first quarter to take 14-8 lead. Reason why: 5 of 6 from FTL; BC is 2 of 6.

At halftime, its Carroll leading Andover 25-21. BC rallied 13-4 to close out the half to take the lead. Carroll at half: 9-25 FG, 6-13 FT, 21 Reb, 8 TO. Emmie Rech 6 pts; Julie Sooter 5 pts, 5 reb; Nicole Walden 4 pts; Kathleen Duling 4 pts.

Carroll keeping its lead comfortable. Sarah Balderas hit a 3 and the Eagles lead 37-27 after three quarters.

Andover has worked its way back in the game. 39-36 Carroll with 4 min left.

A Sooter jumper and Rech layup has given Carroll a 47-38 lead with a minute left.

Garden Plain 52, Wichita Collegiate 40 (FINAL)-- The Owls take out last season's 3A runner-up and the No. 2 team in the class.
