Andover Central stays perfect

Andover Central capped a perfect girls regular season by pulling away from Buhler in the second half, winning 69-42in Andover.

The Jaguars turned a fivepoint lead early in the third quarter into a 13-point advantage to start the fourth quarter.

Central senior guard Tiffany Bias, the team’s leading scorer, dislocated her left (non-shooting) pinky finger in the fourth quarter. She popped it back into place and was later diagnosed with a sprain. Bias, who led all scorers Thursday with 18 points, isn’t expected to miss any postseason games.
