No. 5 Hartford (18-5) – The Jaguars are headed back to the state tournament for the third consecutive year (played in 1A-I both years). Hartford had three players score in double-figures in the sub-state championship win over Colony-Crest.
No. 4 Central Christian (19-4) – The Cougars are headed back to the state tournament for the fourth straight season, a surprise after graduating top three scorers from a year ago. Sophomore Nate Heneha is coming off of a 28-point, 14-rebound game in sub-state finals against Chase.
6:30: Dighton vs. Attica
No. 7 Dighton (17-6) – The Hornets come into the state tournament with a lot of momentum, thanks to junior Lake Lewis’ buzzer beater to knock off Wallace County in the sub-state final. They’re led by senior Tyler Lingg (13.8 points, 9.1 rebounds) and sophomore Jordan Horn (10.5 points, 2.7 assists).
No. 2 Attica (21-2) – The Bulldogs are back in the state tournament after missing out last year, they’ve been one of the top teams in 1A-II all season. The senior duo of Devon Newberry (19.5 points) and Jacob Norris (15.6 points) lead the way.
