Luke Prohaska grabbed a rebound of a missed three-pointer and, while still in the air, made a 6-foot shot at the buzzer to lift Trinity Academy past Parsons 38-37 in a Class 4A-II sub-state boys semifinal on Friday night in Clearwater.
Prohaska’s basket puts Trinity (12-9) in Saturday’s 7:30 p.m. sub-state final against Collegiate.
Prohaska finished with nine points and Jeremy Newport had 11 for Trinity.

Collegiate 61, Clearwater 44 – Collegiate scored three first-quarter points. The Spartans followed with a 24-5 second quarter, though, and rolled past host Clearwater. Cody McNerney had 15 points to lead Collegiate (18-3), followed by 13 for Jacob Newlin and 11 from Austin Waddell.
Rose Hill 63, Mulvane 50 – Parker Austin scored 26 points to lead Rose Hill (7-14) past AV-CTL III-rival Mulvane and into a 4A-I sub-state final at Wellington. Drew Ellis had 20 points and Dalton Blaine had 13 to lead Mulvane (2-19). The Rockets will face host Wellington (11-10), a 68-53 winner over Winfield.
