Boys roundup: Vincent’s 20 points help Eisenhower reach final of Spring Hill tournament

Dylan Vincent scored 20 points, including four three-pointers, to lead Eisenhower past Blue Valley Southeast 63-56 in the semifinals of the Spring Hill tournament on Thursday night.

Eisenhower (9-1) will face Gardner-Edgerton in Friday’s championship game.

Vincent scored 13 first-half points as the Tigers owned a 36-26 halftime lead. Eisenhower made 12 of 21 fourth-quarter free throws to keep BV Southwest at bay. Matt Wilkinson scored 29 points to lead BV Southwest (1-7).

West 57, Colorado Springs Pine Creek 57 – Elijah Horton scored 19 points and David De La Rosa added 16 for the Pioneers in a first-round win at the Colby tournament. West took control by building a 10-point lead to start the fourth quarter. West faces McCook (Neb.) in Friday’s semifinals.

Rose Hill 39, Moundridge 38 – The Rockets got 20 points from Parker Austin and rallied in the fourth quarter, holding Moundridge to four points in a Halstead losers bracket game.

Garden Plain 49, Halstead 41 – Zach May had 18 points to lead the Owls in a Halstead losers bracket game.
