KaSandra Melick and Aubree Burkhart scored 17 points each to lead Mulvane’s girls basketball team to its own tournament title, beating Garden Plain 54-48 on Saturday.
Mulvane took the lead with a 16-6 second quarter, leading 30-22 at halftime.
Noelle Dooley scored 19 points and Lizzie Costello had 15 points for Garden Plain.
Emporia 48, Eisenhower 43 — Brynn Minor had 12 points and Mallory Miller 11 in Eisenhower’s championship-game loss at the Emporia tournament. The Tigers rallied from a 16-point first-quarter deficit to trail by four at the end of the third quarter.

Circle 48, East 41, OT — Talia Highbarger and Kate Wilson had 13 points each in the Thunderbirds’ third-place win at the El Dorado tournament. Astrid Same had 13 for East.
Clearwater 44, Winfield 31 — Bryna Vogel scored 31 points for the Indians, who held Winfield to nine first-half points to take third place at the Mulvane tournament.
SM South 55, Andale 49 — SM South rallied from eight points behind in the fourth quarter to take third place at the McPherson tournament. Brittany Meyer led Andale with17 points.
Campus 66, Arkansas City 55 — Kyra Ivy had 16 points and Reagan Brown had 12 in Campus’ victory over Ark City in the Mulvane tournament’s fifth-place game. Kaitlyn Potter had 26 points for Ark City.
Lawrence 64, Heights 58 — Kiersten Parks and Annalys Benally had 17 points each in the Falcons’ fifth-place loss at Emporia.
Augusta 34, El Dorado 32 — The Orioles rallied in the fourth quarter to finish fifth in the El Dorado tournament. Nine Augusta players scored, led by Casady Marlnee’s six points. Justice Rice had 12 points for El Dorado.
Shawnee Heights 50, Derby 35 — At Topeka, Madi Greenwood scored 13 points and Grace Mitchell had 10 in Derby’s fifth-place loss in the Highland Park tournament.
Olathe East 51, Northwest 28 — Cassie Pauls had nine points to lead Northwest in the fifth-place game at McPherson. Northwest trailed 31-15 at halftime.
Topeka West 52, Southeast 46 — Alex Arline had 15 points and TaChina Taylor had 12 in Southeast’s seventh-place loss at the Emporia tournament.
Collegiate 66, West 26 — Addison Root scored 21 points and Jewell Bolden had 19 in the Spartans’ seventh-place victory at the El Dorado tournament. Iesha Ross had eight points for West.
