Boys roundup: Dunham scores 26 in Derby win

Jeremy Dunham scored 26 points and helped Derby build a big early lead in its 73-62 victory over Salina Central in an Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail League game Friday night in Derby.

James Conley added 18 points and Josh Mark had 12 for the Panthers in the Division I victory.

Treyton Hines led Salina Central with 25 points.

City League

North 60, West 36 — North built a 16-point halftime lead and helped keep the Pioneers winless in the City League. Tarius Williams had 18 points for North, while Darren Lewis and Gage Loy had 10 each. Bryce Money, Robert Machado, Caleb Farris and Caleb Moore had eight each for West.


Andale 60, Hutchinson Trinity 33 — Lane Macari had 13 points and Hunter Knoblauch 12 for visiting Andale, which opened up a 24-5 first-half lead.

Andover 68, Campus 50 — Adam DeKoning scored 22 points to lead the visiting Trojans in a non-division victory. Colby Leeper had 13 to lead Campus.

Collegiate 45, Clearwater 32 — Balanced scoring, led by Cameron Christian’s 10 points, helped the host Spartans to a Division IV win. Johnny Becker had 11 points for Clearwater.

Eisenhower 52, Goddard 22 — Matt Morris had 14 points and Tyler Buchanan had 13 as Eisenhower drubbed its rival. Tucker Vang had 14 points for Goddard.

Augusta 70, Rose Hill 50 — Brandon Smith had 20 poitns and Connor Hurst 16 for the Orioles in a Division III victory. Ben Priebe led Rose Hill with 15, while Gabe Nicel and Alek Santo added 12 each.

Central Plains League

Trinity Academy 66, Cheney 42 — Matt Jones (14 points), Austin Shanks (13) and Preston Miller (11) led the Knights to a road victory. Cheney was led by Cameron Hill’s 13 points.

Medicine Lodge 49, Conway Springs 47 — Conway Springs came from behind in the fourth quarter to tie the score at 37 all, but turned the ball over on an inbounds play with seconds left. Scott Angell of Medicine Lodge led all scorers with 22.

Independent 65, Chaparral 47 — Jonny Richmond and Michael Kay had 13 points each as the Panthers won at Chaparral. Jaden Miller had 18 points to lead Chaparral.
