The new Class 4A-Division II basketball tournament in March will be held at Park City’s Hartman Arena, the Kansas State High School Activities Association announced Tuesday morning.

The Division II tournament will be held for the first time after Class 4A schools voted last year to split the classification in half for state championships in five team sports. The 4A-I tournament will be held at Salina’s Bicentennial Center, which had hosted the 4A tournament for more than 25 years.

No other state sites changed. Class 6A is at Wichita State, 5A at Topeka’s Expocentre, 3A at Hutchinson’s Sports Arena, 2A at Kansas State, 1A-I at Emporia and 1A-II at Fort Hays State.

The tournaments are scheduled for March 12-15, 2014.
