Logan Bullinger scored 22 points and Bishop Carroll used a strong start to beat Heights 44-39 in a City League boys basketball game on Tuesday night at Carroll.
Carroll pulled to a 12-2 first-quarter lead and still led by nine at halftime.
Christian Smith had 11 points for Carroll. Semaj Hervey led Heights with 13 points.
Carroll has won two straight games after losing 4 of 5. Heights has lost two straight games after winning 6 of 7.

Southeast 73, South 43 — Freshman Jerrick Harding scored 22 poitns and junior E.J. Garnes had 21 as the visiting Buffaloes walloped South. Reagan Oyugi added 14 points for Southeast. Jordan Moore paced the Titans with 21 points.
McPherson 64, Andale 57, OT — Andale suffered its second loss after 12 straight victories.
El Dorado 51, Circle 48 — Trevor Crain scored 13 points, Jared Haury scored 11 and Travis House had 10 for El Dorado.
Clearwater at Winfield
Mulvane 46, Collegiate 44 — Zach Haynes’ buzzer-beating shot lifted visiting Mulvane to a non-division victory. Ty Redington had 10 points for Mulvane. Vafa Behzadpour had 12 points and Riley Kemmer 12 for the Spartans.
Andover Central 55, Goddard 35 — Cameron Hurley had 16 poitns and Zach Winter 10 for the Jaguars in a Division II victory. Collin Nevil had 10 points for Goddard.
Maize 51, Newton 41 — Tavon Morrow had 14 points and Connor Eleeson 10 in the Eagles’ Division I victory. Grant Walker led Newton with nine points.
Valley Center 53, Maize South 52 — The host Hornets held on despite a Maize South flurry. Valley Center led by six with two minutes to go and survived fouling two three-point shooters and a technical foul. Garrett Reeves had 16 for Valley Center while Brett Barney had 21 and Kade Kordonowy 16 for Maize South. Rose Hill 47, Wellington 42 — Bret waddell scored 13 points to help Rose Hill hold off visiting Wellington. Trevor Nance had 12 for Wellington.

Independent 82, Douglass 65 — Brice Dean had 25 points, Trey Williams 17 and Kevin Jarvis 16 in the Panthers’ home victory. Chase Banister led Douglass with 24 points.
Garden Plain 41, Medicine Lodge 38 — Denver Doyle scored 10 points to help the visiting Owls to a league victory. Scott Angell had 15 points to lead Medicine Lodge.
Trinity Academy 62, Belle Plaine 25 — The visiting Knights owned the first quarter 23-0 and cruised to a league victory. Ryan Miller had 20 points to lead Trinity.
