Derby's late FTs thwart Campus

Kyler Steadman hit two free throws in the final seconds Tuesday night to help visiting Derby defeat south-side rival Campus 46-42 in an Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail League boys basketball game.

Jabril Richardson had 14 points to lead Derby, while Brett Thomas and Alec Meier had 16 each for Campus.

South limited Frankamp to three points in the first quarter and trailed 14-10. But Frankamp scored nine in the second quarter while North held South to six points, building a 36-16 halftime edge.

Dionti Craig had 14 points for South.
