In football, Heights whooped up on Northwest — without Dreamius Smith. An impressive performance, no doubt.

I was out at Valley Center tonight for a volleyball triangular with Bishop Carroll and Cheney. Now THAT is what good volleyball looks like. There were excellent players, excellent plays, long volleys, incredible kills, sweet blocks.

Valley Center came out with sweeps over Cheney and Carroll, while Carroll beat Cheney.

The best players on the night were Valley Center’s Ashlyn Driskill (outside), Emily Otte (setter) and Max Williams (libero); Cheney’s Merissa Quick (middle) and Mackenzie Orchard (outside); Carroll’s Sarah Balderas (outside and setter) and Jana Reichenberger (middle).

I’ve got some video below.
