This whole LeBron sweepstakes thing has got me thinking fantasy sports- fantasy football. Now personally I’ve always been pretty bad at fantasy football, except for that one season when I drafted Andre Johnson, Randy Moss and Terrell Owens and they all had killer years.
I’m pretty sure last year I only had two wins at the mid-way point and lost interest. Anyways, since this is a high school blog I figured it’d be interesting to see what would happen if we could have a makeshift fantasy football draft with area players for the upcoming season.
I’ve always been a fan of the Yahoo! Sports fantasy leagues. So we’ll go with their scoring system and position count for the basis of your drafting.
Points would be distributed for: Touchdowns, yards passing, completed passes, yards receiving, receptions, yards rushing, field goals made, field goal length, extra points, tackles, sacks and interceptions. So I’d draft according to those values.

So I think the first person to respond to this post would have the No. 1 pick. The second person to comment would have the second pick etc… Let’s cap it at 12 teams (if we can even get that much).
Here are the positions. Have at it.
