With three wrestlers through to today’s championship matches, Andale will attempt to win its second Class 4A title in five years.
Andale stands atop the 4A team standings with 89 points after the first day of competition at Salina’s Bicentennial Center. Colton Eck (135 pounds), Benny Armstrong (171), and B.J. Finney (285) will wrestle for titles today.
Valley Center, currently in third with 83 points also has three finalists in Chase Nitcher (135), Cade Blair (152) and Titus Hopper (215).
El Dorado has two finalists with Lucas Cortez at 160 and Dylon Walker at 189. Rose Hill’s Zac Sparr is a finalist at 119 pounds and Augusta’s Luke Henning goes at 285.

After Day 1 at the Class 3-2-1A tournament at Hays’ Gross Memorial Coliseum, Douglass is in fifth place, with two finalists: Daylen Zaldivar at 119 and Cody Huffman at 285.
Garden Plain’s Sage Thimmesch competes in 152. Halstead’s Nick Thibault goes for a title in 160 and Chaparral’s Sione John Siale competes in 215.
