Circle 20, El Dorado 17, OT

Alex Gardinier hit Richard Mould with a 10-yard touchdown pass on visiting Circle’s first play of overtime to deny El Dorado its first victory.

El Dorado had taken the overtime lead on Reed Bruce’s 30-yard field goal. The Wildcats missed a field-goal try with eight seconds remaining in the fourth quarter that would’ve given them the lead.

Circle plays at Andover next week. Andover is the only team in Class 4A-District 11 to clinch a playoff berth, so far.
