Thunder slips on road

Rapid City scored twice in the third period and beat the Wichita Thunder 2-1 on Saturday night in Rapid City, S.D.

The game was scoreless for the first 39 minutes. The Thunder went ahead 1-0 with a power-play goal from Lance Galbraith in the final minute of the second period.

Rapid City tied the score on Konrad Reeder's goal at 5:27, then took the lead two minutes later on a goal by Jamie Carroll.
