THUNDER'S LOSING STREAK REACHES 15

Wichita's losing streak hit 15 Sunday as the Thunder lost to Texas 2-0 at North Richland Hill, Texas.

The Thunder, which had trouble Saturday night with its powerplay against Missouri, was 0 for 6 against the Brahmas.

Wichita has been shut out four times this season.

Texas took a 1-0 lead at the 4:28 mark in the first period on a power-play goal from Tyler Skworchinski. The Brahmas increased their lead to 2-0 when Mark Kolanos scored in the second period.

Wichita's 17 second-period shots tied a season-high.

Wichita served 48 minutes in penalties on 13 infractions while Texas served 36 minutes on 11 infractions.

The Thunder will play host to Rapid City on Tuesday.
