Tulsa scored two power-play goals in the second period en route to a 4-2 victory over Wichita on Sunday in Tulsa.
Wichita scored first on Jim Jorgensen's power play shot from the point at 3:39 in the first period. It was the first home power-play goal allowed by the Oilers this season. Tulsa tied it 37 seconds later when Marty Standish scored on a backhand shot to the left of Scott Campbell.
Joel Hanson added the Thunder's second goal at 14:03 in the third period. Scott Campbell took the loss, stopping 24 of 28 shots. Wichita went 1 for 2 on the power play and 6 for 7 on the penalty kill. Jason Deleurme, Chris Kovalcik, and Hanson all earned fighting majors.
Wichita returns to the Coliseum on Wednesday, hosting Rapid City at 7:05 p.m.
